Glyphosate 41% SL inhibits biosynthesis of essential aromatic amino acids requiredfor protein synthesis. It is absorbed through the leaves in actively growing and rapidly transported in the roots and thus eliminates the plants. It controls a wide range of annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf , applying pre-emergence, post-emergence and pre-harvest grain and oilseeds. It is commonly used for agriculture, horticulture, and silviculture purposes as well as garden maintenance. Because of this mode of action, it is only effective on actively growing plants.
